Your Comprehensive Guide to Treating Acne: Easy Steps for Clearer Skin

2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment

Why It Works: This product combines benzoyl peroxide and micro-exfoliating hydroxy acid to target acne, unclog pores, and reduce oiliness.

3.  Cosmedix Salicylic Acid Foaming Cleanser

Why It Works: This salicylic acid cleanser is non-comedogenic and gently exfoliates dead skin cells. It also removes excess oil and impurities without over-drying the skin.

4.  Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

– **Why It Works:** This exfoliant is one of my favorites for blackheads! It contains salicylic acid (BHA) that exfoliates inside the pores, helping to reduce blackheads and breakouts. Start by using it 2 times a week until your skin adjusts then don’t use it more than 3 times a week.
