Who doesn’t love SEPHORA? I am sure most of us beauty lovers found ourselves in Sephora at one point or another. I love to wear makeup, so from time to time, I find myself strolling along their makeup aisles for new goodies. However, did you ever purchase skincare items from there? There are so many interesting skincare products to choose from and it is important to note that not all products are created equal.
So first off, if you visited my blog before, you know how much of a fan of GlamGlow and Clinique products I am. I love GlamGlow’s masks and Clinique’s moisturizers and exfoliators. Both seem to be gentle to my skin while imporoving the appearance of clogged pores. There is another brand in Sephora I recently tried out and that is Dermadoctor!
Dermadoctor’s products are created by Dr. Kunin, a board certified dermatologist. So when I received her products in the mail, I was eager to try them out. The two products I received were Dermadoctor’s Picture POREfect and Ain’t Misbehavin Healthy Toner with Glycolic and Lactic Acid. I will let you know my honest opinions of both and this article is not sponsored.
So, just in case you’re wondering what the purpose of toner is, I will explain the benefits. Toners are beneficial as they help clear out your pores and tighten cell gaps after cleansing your face. They also minimize the chance for impurities and environmental toxins from entering the bloodstream.
DERMADOCTOR PICTURE POREFECT
I was really intrigued by Dermadoctors’s Picture Porefect. It basically is a 2 in 1 for your pores. It helps minimize the appearance of pores and also helps clear out debris in them. Dermadoctor states that this product contains, “An AHA complex of glycolic, lactic, and citric acids enhanced by retinol, azelaic acid, willow bark, and polymer technology purify and decongest clogged pores and mattify and clarify oily skin.” This product is a great primer to use under makeup.

DERMADOCTOR’S AIN’T MISBEHAVIN HEALTHY TONER
The next product I tried is Dermadoctor’s Ain’t Misbehavin Healthy Toner. This toner also contains both lactic and glycolic acid to help remove dead skin cells and reveal brighter skin. I use this toner twice a week to help exfoliate my skin gently. I

Toners help balance your skin after chemical services or exfoliating
Toners can be used after cleansing or after any chemical services such as waxing or after using chemical exfoliators. It helps balance out skin’s PH level and normalize skin’s barrier to help minimize infections or irritation. I would alternate use of this toner to opposite times of the day if you are using retinioids or other actives to avoid skin irritation.
