So you set your alarm to wake up Monday morning at 6 am. You plan on getting up earlier than normal to actually take the time to get some makeup on and look presentable, but that idea goes down the drain the moment you press snooze. Look I’ve been there. No one got time for that girl!! Not only that, but who feels like getting ready in the morning, especially on Mondays when all you’d rather be doing is sleeping after your long weekend.
Today I came up with some tips to help you achieve that no-makeup makeup look in less than 15 minutes. With these 5 hacks I have assembled, you will not only look presentable, but also look natural and put together before you tackle the day.

WAKE UP THOSE TIRED EYES!
The first hack and probably the most important is to apply an under eye hydrating cream. The main point of the no-makeup look is to look awake. Since the under-eye area is the thinnest, it tends to reveal how tired we are as this area is the most delicate and driest part of our facial skin. Therefore, I prefer eye creams with hyaluronic acid to help add moisture to wake up those tired looking raccoon eyes.
Vitamin C is another potent ingredient found in eye creams/gels which is packed with antioxidants and nutrients to help restore and light up the under eye area. I think most women would agree that they can benefit from product s with both hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C to help them look more awake.
Try: OLE HENRIKSON BANANA BRIGHT EYE CREME
AVOID CAKE-FACE
The second tip for a natural makeup look is to avoid heavier foundations and opt for tinted lotions, BB or CC creams. All of these options give your skin some additional hydration and still permit a portion of your natural skin, redness, and blemishes to radiate through. Apply your BB or CC cream with a foundation brush to cover more, or with a damp beauty blender to keep the coverage sheer.
Try: Elta MD Tinted Sunscreen with SPF 46 which is ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It gives a nice glow and has niacinamide to help brighten dark spots as well.
DEW IT UP
Adding a highlighter or illuminator to your temples can go far in making your face look radiant and dewy. Rather than choosing a sparkly highlighter, (you don’t want to look like you’re going to the disco now) pick a cream version with a tint that can add a subtle sheen to your face.
I love Kosas Cosmetics cream highlighter Palette. This highlighter is very versatile and can be used under or over your foundation to create a soft glow to the face.

LIFT THOSE EYES GIRL!
Mascara is a staple in my makeup kit. Not only does it create the illusion of bigger eyes, but it also lifts the appearance hooded eyes. 1-2 coats of mascara is plenty if you want to achieve that no makeup look.
Make sure to let each application dry before applying more in order to avoid clumpy lashes. There various shades of mascara on the market today, so if you want to look less made up, I’d recommend choosing a shade similar to your natural eyelash color. Voila, now you have fuller looking lashes in less than 2 minutes.
Try: BENEFIT BAD GAL BANG MASCARA
FAKE THAT ROSINESS
Another step but not mandatory is to add is blush! There’s something about blush that just completes the final look and makes you look healthy! Apply cream or powder blush on the apple of the cheeks, up to the sides of the temples, and bridge of your nose. I find that cream blush adds a fuller coverage and works best with dry skin tones. Warm shades of blush like peach and coral work well with medium to dark skin tones, and cool shades such as pink work best with lighter skin tones.
Try: Tarte Blush
Now you’re ready to look flawless in a matter of minutes!!
