2019 Spring Makeup Essentials
FINALLY! Spring is finally here and that means its time for my 2019 spring makeup essentials! Say goodbye to dark, cool color lipsticks and shadows; Say hello to getting your glow on with bright, vibrant colors! I’m calling out to those of you who want to feel like you just came from the Bahamas!
It’s time to enhance your skin tone with warm hues such as peach or coral. Let your inner beauty shine through. The best way to enhance depth to your eyes, regardless of the eye shape is to use warm shades such as gold, bronze, or copper.
One of my favorite pallets is Huda Beauty’s Rose Gold Remastered Palette. It has 18 buttery smooth shadows that are talc free. This palette is highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. You will look like a bronze-goddess and at the same make your eyes “pop.”
For the perfect cheek color, I recommend Tarte’s Amazonian clay blush since they have a wide variety of matte and shimmer shades. You will create an instant flush to your cheeks and look sun-kissed. I love this blush because it literally lasts all day, while the clay helps to control oil and infuse moisture to your skin.
Last but not least, don’t forget to add some highlight to the temples of your face. I recommend Mac’s Soft and Gentle highlighter for extra dimension and to highlight. A pro tip is to apply highlight with a damp beauty blender by stippling it to the high points of the face and the bridge of the nose. Time to “shine bright like a diamond!”
